Sukan (sambungan)

Ahaa! We meet again after a very long time hahah I am so tired of apologizing for forgetting to update my blog regularly as what i always promised.

Anyway, I have been talking about sports facilities in Mahsa Bandar Saujana Putra in the previous post. To summarize, I talked about lack of sports facilities in Mahsa in 2018, which we got a very messed up field that was really hydrophilic (water-loving) comes with mud and uneven surface. There was no futsal/ basketball/ volleyball/ tennis court in the early year of 2018, and the nearest ones was not near. Lastly, mahsa got 3 badminton courts in the international school just near the university. I was very surprised because I thought these are all basic things a university must have.

How about this year, exactly on this month, October 2019?  Is it the same, or massive improvement??

By that sentence, you might have guessed that Mahsa has improved so much. And, you're right! Mahsa has now got its own gymnasium (I will update the fees and pictures later). There are around 6 threadmills provided along with others, so you can just easily improve your fitness anytime you want (not really, up to ~11pm) in a safer way because there is really no designated jog pathway around Mahsa.

Just besides and down the gymnasium (in the same building), there is a swimming pool. But the downside is it is not really a swimming pool because if you don't know how to swim, you might have your last breath just before entering it. Why i said so? Because it is so deep, it is almost like an olympic shaped and sized (a bit) swimming pool. But don't worry, there is another swimming pool provided near to the international school.

How about field?

Now, Mahsa is in the process of renovating the field. From far, the field looks nice now, with green grass spreading evenly throughout the field, with corner flag (built mainly for football) and even surface i guess (will try out when it is open to use). From my knowledge, the running track is also in the process of renovation and expected to complete by this december. But don't be so happy, because the track is just on the grass.

This is in International School field, we won a Mahsa football competition
without any proper training against many Mahsa players, what a superb achievement!!

The winning team!

For futsal lover, Mahsa has got one open area futsal court just near the international school and another one is being build in the university area. But it is usually not being used maybe because it's too hot to play in evening, or the surface can make you buy a new pair of shoes in just after 6 months hahah. But it is so cheap, just pay rm30 for 2 hours. Can play at night also because flooding light is provided now, but I am not sure how good the lighting is.

This is in BSP21, free if you have friends there!

We prefer to play at outside court,
so this one is in Bangi
Basketball court, just next to futsal court

Just besides the futsal court, there is a basketball court, but can also transform to volleyball court. Usually, volleyball would occupy the area for around 3 days in a weekdays (I am sometimes a part of the playing members). There is no line, so we just put slippers at every end and just imagine the line. But it is not really an issue because we really enjoyed it. The fee is the same as futsal, rm30 for 2 hours.

Last but not least, about badminton court. There are 3 badminton courts available, you can play for just rm10 per hour, day and night. Net is provided. The surface is quite good and it is in just-nice air-conditioned hall. Oh, btw it is located in the International School (MisKL). Sometimes, dodgeball practice and competition will be held there too!
